Azadeh Fatehrad

• Artist Statement

  Azadeh Fatehrad is an Iranian artist, her work demonstrates gender identity in the theme of desire and resistance. Fatehrad works with photography and video installation. Her work expresses female’s desire and resistance (as a sign of sexual identification) in respond to the fundamental transformation between tradition and modernity. She is currently PhD candidate in Photography at Royal College of Art London.
